Hello,
My name is Johnsonie, and I'm the founder and owner of Le Petit Campus. Over the years, I've
been fortunate to have a career that blends my passion for early childhood education,
healthcare, and leadership. It all started when I worked as a governess, teaching French,
among other subjects, to children in New York City, which ignited my love for nurturing
young minds.
To deepen my expertise, I pursued a postgraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from NYU, followed by a master's in public administration from NYU. These experiences equipped me with both the theoretical knowledge and leadership skills needed to create meaningful programs for children.
From there, I transitioned into healthcare, spending time in the NICU as a pediatric nurse, caring for premature and medically fragile infants. Later, I worked as a Nurse Care Coordinator, supporting families during critical times, and eventually took on a nurse administrator role where I honed my leadership skills.
Becoming a mother was a turning point for me. It taught me the joys and challenges of raising children and inspired me to build Le Petit Campus—a micro preschool that combines warmth, empathy, and a focus on holistic development. My vision is simple: I want every child to feel cherished and to thrive in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
With my unique blend of experience in education, healthcare, and leadership—along with the insights I've gained as a parent—I'm dedicated to creating a trusted and supportive early childhood development center in NYC where children and families can flourish.
